In addition to stunning scenery and amazing people, you can look forward to some awesome discussion on the subject of hope and the potential to transform our lives for the better through hope being “discontented, dangerous, and determined.”

Each participant is expected to bring their own equipment and be self-sustaining. However, if you’re lacking any backpacking gear, just let us know because we’re likely to have extra that you or your friends can use.
All meals will be on your own, unless you choose to collaborate with someone else on the trip! And guess what!? On the evening of August 3, as part of a pre-trip meeting, one of our trip leaders will be giving some rad instruction on how to make your own backpacking meals. How cool is that! (This class will be open and free to anyone, even if they’re not joining for the weekend trip.
