Common Ground Gathers
Our Common Ground Gathers events are when our LifeGroups come together to celebrate what God has been doing in our individual lives and as a community. The theme for each Gathers changes, as it’s the perfect time to strengthen friendships through getting together outside and worshipping together through music and testimony.

september gathers:
Sept 25-26: convocation
Starting on Friday, the 25th, the Central Oregon Convocation is happening at the Bend SDA church. Convocation is an annual gathering of the Seventh-day Adventist churches from across Central Oregon who come together to worship, pray, learn, and encourage one another in our shared mission of following Jesus. Rooted in a spirit of unity, the Convocation creates space for believers from different congregations and traditions to build relationships, hear from inspiring speakers, participate in meaningful discussions, and grow together in faith. Whether you've attended for years or are joining for the first time, the Convocation is an opportunity to connect with the broader Christian community in our region and be refreshed for the work God is doing through His Church.

Join us October 17 from 5–7 pm for a shared meal and an evening of connection, reflection, worship at Skyliner Lodge outside of Bend, Oregon. We'll welcome guest speaker Pastor Paddy McCoy from Crosswalk Church in Portland as he shares on the pivotal topic of loving one another, exploring how what we give our attention to shapes who we become and the way we love those around us.
Together, we'll reflect on what it means to embody the love of Jesus in our everyday lives and relationships. Come ready to share a meal, grow in community, and be encouraged as we continue learning to live and love like Jesus.

We'll gather around music, share in the goodness of being together, and make space to slow down, enjoy the moment, and connect with one another. Come as you are, bring a friend, and settle in for a meaningful evening!

Christmas is a time to slow down, draw near, and celebrate the hope and goodness found in Jesus. Join the Common Ground family for a meaningful evening of worship, connection, and celebration as we remember the gift of Christ and the light He brings into our lives.
Through music, shared moments, and time together, we'll make space to reflect on the wonder of Christmas, celebrate God's goodness, and enjoy the gift of community. Whether you're part of Common Ground, joining us for the first time, or simply looking for a place to celebrate, there's a seat for you.
