Thanks for checking out our Common Ground Journal! What’s happening in Common Ground? What are people experiencing as they explore faith and the outdoors? What stories are being told? What are some great outdoor-related memes? What conversations and happenings are taking place in the broader outdoor community of Central Oregon and beyond? Our journal will be a source of all things outdoors and faith and will act as one of our major Common Ground extensions for our community. We’re thoroughly excited to have many authors and contributors be a part of this fun journaling experience! We hope the content featured here is inspiring, educating, helpful, and joyous, as you join us in seeking to explore faith and the outdoors.
Our first three posts are written by individuals shedding light on their personal experiences at our recent climbing festival, On This Rock. The mission of On This Rock is to improve accessibility, experience belonging, and consider Jesus in the climbing space. This festival took place on April 22-24, 2022 at Smith Rock State Park. We hope you’ll enjoy these reflections about the purpose of On This Rock as well as the rest of our stories and perspectives that will be shared on a continuous basis.
